This site may be viewed at 800x600 resolution or greater.  In an attempt to best serve the greatest number of users, the home page has been squeezed a bit (from side to side).  This has eliminated most horizontal scroll bars, but has increased the length of each page from top to bottom.   You will often see two sets of vertical scroll bars.  Use the following tip.

         TIP #1 - IF YOU HAVE A CENTER WHEEL ON YOUR MOUSE, USE IT IN PLACE OF THE SCROLL BARS.  CLICK SOMEWHERE INSIDE THE DOCUMENT THAT YOU ARE VIEWING.  THEN ROLL THE WHEEL. THE PAGE SHOULD MOVE UP AND  DOWN AS YOU MOVE THE WHEEL.   YOU WON'T NEED TO TOUCH THE SCROLL BARS AT ALL!

Some of you have hyperactive POP-UP Blockers.  Some of the links on this site cause a secondary page to pop-up over the COS Home Page.  This is intentional (usually for pages needing a lot of width).  Employ the following tip to be sure you can see all of the COS pages:

     TIP #2 SET YOUR POP-UP BLOCKER TO ALLOW ALL CONTENT FROM THE www.cosmd.org  DOMAIN..    Otherwise, you may miss items such as the "Calendar of Events" .   After you're done with these pop-up pages, you can close them and return to the COS Home page by using the "X" in the upper right corner of the the page.  Most of the pop-up pages also include a "CLOSE" instruction or "CLOSE" button.
