  News About The COS Plans For Church Construction

             A  LITTLE  HISTORY
In August of 2000, Church Of The Saviour Myersville acquired 5.906 acres of land from Faith Lutheran Church of Naples Florida, Inc.  The property is know as "LOT 4, SECTION 1, CROSS HOLLOW".   The lot is located near Myersville, MD on the northeast side of Baltimore National Pike (U.S.Route 40) less than ½ mile toward Frederick from Harmony Road.   Currently, the property entrance is marked by a concrete entranceway and the sign shown here.

Update: January 2008 - Plans are still under review by the State Highway Administration.  It is likely that the Route 40  entrance will be will be moved to the westerly end of the property.  This is a less expensive option, and will provide greater site distance and safety when entering the highway.  Continue to pray for God's will in all aspects!

A Plan has been prepared for development of the property.   The plan is currently under review of the Frederick County Planning Commission.  A portion of the plan may be viewed by clicking the button below.

 Pastor "Duke" Jeffries has rendered preliminary architectural plans for the proposed new building.   The building in tentatively named "CROSS HOLLOW MEETING HOUSE".   The Plan View may be viewed by clicking the button below.
